Flybe has added a new Düsseldorf service from London Gatwick in time for this summer season.

The new route will start on 22nd June and will operate three times daily on a weekday, once on a Saturday and twice daily on a Sunday.

Mike Rutter, Flybe chief commercial officer said: “Dusseldorf has been a big success for Flybe out of Southampton, Manchester and Birmingham. We have big plans to grow further in Germany and this new route from Gatwick shows we mean business.”

Flybe has grown quickly over a short space of time with its Gatwick operations adding services to Aberdeen, Newcastle and Newquay.

The addition of this route means Flybe will be operating around 500 flights a week from Gatwick this summer.

Flights on the new Dusseldorf route can be booked now with opening fares from £29.99 one way including taxes and airport charges available until April 17.
