Low Cost Airline Increases Guernsey Flights

Low cost carrier Flybe is to expand its flight frequency this summer between Gatwick and Guernsey.

From 29 June an extra afternoon return flight will be added to meet increased seasonal demand.

This new flight will take the total number of flights to six returns a day on weekdays. Fares will start from £29.99 one way to include taxes and charges.

Mike Rutter, the airlines chief commercial officer said “Historically, airline after airline have abandoned their services to the Channel Islands, but Flybe’s bucking that trend with this additional rotation.

“We remain committed to providing affordability and flexibility for Channel Islands travellers and, with six rotations now on this popular route, offer the perfect choice for leisure and business travellers alike.

“Flybe is the UK’s largest domestic airline and now operate nine of the 12 domestic routes out of London Gatwick.”
