Bristol International Airport has installed ‘wellie washers’ so festival goers can clean their boots before flying home.
Music lovers from all over the world have descended on Glastonbury Festival this weekend to see hundreds of bands and artists like Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal, Franz Ferdinand, Pendulum and Bruce Springsteen perform at the open air festival on farmers fields in Somerset.
The infamous British summer weather means that the annual event usually turns into a mud-fest, and 2009 is appearing to be no exception. Thunder storms and torrential rain have turned campsites into quagmires and stage areas into mud baths.
Bristol Airport have strategically placed the ‘wellie washers’ outside their terminal ready for the onslaught of weary and wet, muddy yet mellow, homeward bound music lovers.
